Salta Adventure

Upon your arrival into Salta you will be met at the airport by your private driver and guide. You will be transferred to your nearby hotel where your guide will help you check in and run through your Salta program for the next few days, and answer any questions you may have.

Salta is located in the Lerma valley in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. 

Take this opportunity to walk around the colonial streets see the beautiful, Hispanic style architecture with the stunning Andes Mountains as the background. 

Explore the shops, the Plaza Mayor or just watch life go by from one of the many cafés or restaurants as you relax.

Description:
A trip through the Quebrada declared World Heritage area, where the landscape and the colours of the hills are combined with the equally colourful cultures that inhabit this area.

This trip begins with the arrival to the Pueblito de Purmamarca to observe the Hill of Seven Colors, the Church and the Market. We will continue towards the town of Tilcara to visit the Pucará. Then we will visiting Huacalera, Tropic of Capricorn, and see the colors of the hill called the Pollera de la Colla. Visit to the Church of Uquía, where there are the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels. 

We then arrive into Humahuaca with its important Cathedral and the Monument to Independence (El Indio) by the sculptor Soto Avendaño. After lunch, we return to observe from the route Paleta del Pintor that frames the town of Maimara.

Description:
You will be picked up at your hotel for this full day tour to Cafayate.

The tour begins travelling through the Lerma Valley, passing through tobacco cultivation fields and towns of colonial architecture.

We then continue to the Quebrada del Río Las Conchas where the curious formations eroded by wind and water will be the main attraction: the dunes, the toad, the bishop, the throat of the devil, the castles, the amphitheater, among others.

Then we will go though the National Route 68 to arrive in Cafayate, the youngest city in the Calchaquíes Valleys, recognized internationally for it's wines, particularly the Torrontés, which can be tasted during a visit to its winery, whether handmade or industrial type.

We will return to Salta by the same route but with a completely different solar light whose lighting will modify the landscape in the ravine completely.

You will be transferred to the airport by a Spanish Speaking driver for your departure.
