After breakfast you will be picked up form your hotel for this half day city tour. You will start the tour with a 30 minute drive to Miraflores to see the huge vessels passing the Panama Canal. 

You will enjoy the view on the Locks from a sheltered terrace and listen to the explanations of your guide. To complete the visit of the Canal you will visit the Museum and Visitor Center at Miraflores which gives you a good idea on the construction of the Canal – a masterpiece of engineering. You will also learn about the history of the canal and its significance for Panama and the entire world trade as well as on the current expansion project. 

After the visit to the Canal you continue with your guide to the Amador Causeway, a road that connects three Islands in the Pacific Ocean and offers magnificent views on the Canal on one side and on the skyline of Panama City on the other side. The tour continues to the Casco Viejo, Panama City’s colonial quarter. At the Casco Viejo you'll feel set back in time as you admire the lovely colonial houses, the narrow roads and the impressive churches. You will get a good idea about Panama’s history by driving or walking through the main attractions of this quarter before returning to your hotel.

Rainforest excursions
Panama offers many attractions but one you should not miss if you like the outdoors is a rainforest excursion. There are many national parks where you can find an abundance of wildlife. 
Island activities
Panama has lots of beautiful islands on the Pacific and Caribbean coast. To mention a few islands: Pearl Islands Archipelago, Coiba, Taboga Island, Boca Brava and Isla Iguana in the Pacific and Bocas del Toro Archipelago and San Blas Archipelago in the Caribbean.
Indigenous culture
Panama has 7 indigenous groups which vary in individual size. The Indigenous groups are Bokota, Embera, Guaymí, Guna, Ngöbe-Buglé, Talamanca, Trive and Wounaan. 
Water sports
There are many water sports that can be practiced in Panama. Between these water sports are fishing, skiing, surfing, boating, snorkeling, kayaking, river rafting, and many others. 
Canal tours
One of the main attractions in Panama City is the canal. You will find different tour options to choose from. You can sail through the full canal length from Pacific to Caribbean or take a partial cruise on the Pacific side.

Boca Chica is a small fishing village along Panama’s central Pacific coast that acts primarily as the gateway to both the Gulf of Chiriquí National Park (Parque Nacional Marino Golfo de Chiriquí) and the neighboring island of Boca Brava. The natural beauty of this place is impressive, but it’s still off-the-radar for most tourists. The town itself is modest and mainly local; however, there are a scattering of nice accommodations and restaurants within the immediate vicinity.

it’s still an undiscovered gem with an abundance of backwater charm. Much of this is owed to its relatively isolated location. Situated in the Chiriquí province, the turnoff for Boca Chica is about 50km east of David.

From the port at Boca Chica, local boatmen take visitors to the islands and beaches in the nearby national park. Parque Nacional Marino Golfo de Chiriquí is a 14,470-hectare marine park made up of two dozen islands and their surrounding waters, all of which is teeming with wildlife. The park provides a wealth of activities, including deep sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and sea kayaking. Boca Brava lies just 200 meters across the bay from Boca Chica, a large island that features several accommodations, a few beaches, and a plethora of wildlife.

Visit the coffee plantation of Finca Dos Jefes: The volcanic soil of Boquete, combined with a humid climate and fresher temperatures, offers perfect conditions for growing some of the world’s most prestigious varieties of coffee.

Gaze at both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans from the summit of the Barú Volcano: The Barú Volcano is one of the top attractions when visiting Boquete. Though the hike to the summit is very challenging, the view is absolutely unique. The top is one of the few places in the world where both the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans can be spotted simultaneously.

Visit Boquete’s Tuesday Market: With a large expat community living in Boquete all year round, the town has developed a vibe of its own, with lots of international restaurants, cafés, yoga studios and hotels. The Tuesday Market, held at a local theater, gives a good sense of Boquete’s eclectic community. 

Go whitewater rafting on the Chiriquí Viejo River: Panama’s Chiriquí Viejo River provides the ultimate rafting experience for people of all skill levels.

You will be picked up from your hotel to experience the exceptional biodiversity of Panama’s tropical cloud forest from the treetops. Amaze yourself with breathtaking views of clear rivers, waterfalls, and the towering Baru Volcano, an active stratovolcano and the tallest mountain in Panama, at 3,475 meters. 

The Boquete Hanging Bridges Tour takes place within Rio Cristal private forest reserve, located in the Talamanca Mountain Range bordering La Amistad International Park (P.I.L.A.). Along with a local naturalist guide, you will learn and explore the lush flora and fauna of these protected forests. 

The suspension bridges range from 70 to 135 meters long and reaching heights of up to 75 meters above the ground. You will also go along 6 walking trails that measure from 185m to 1.5 km, reaching altitudes ranging from 1.660 to 1.827 m.s.n.m. The trails are of medium difficulty and can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

You will be picked up at your hotel to start this half day coffee tour. Did you know that Panama produces some of the most flavorful coffee in the world? A relatively new player on the gourmet-coffee market, the country produces traditional shade-grown-coffee varieties that are generally considered to be more complex and distinctive than those produced by its more famous neighbor, Costa Rica. 

Most coffee plantations in Panama are concentrated around Boquete because of the high altitude required for prime coffee growing, and because of the region's fertile volcanic soil. On this tour you will learn about the cultivation and process of the coffee bean and you will never look at your morning cup of joy the same once you have taken a coffee tour. Even coffee snobs will glean insight not only into the meticulous growing process but into the economics of the local Ngöbe-Buglé indigenous labor and culture, the shade-grown theory to protect the environment and to grow a better bean, the effect coffee has on the world, and what coffee producers really think about Starbucks. Tours are capped off with a cupping, which, much like a wine-tasting, gives you a chance to sample different flavors, strengths, and roasts. From your hotel, you will be driven to Almirante. This drive is approximately 3.5 hours and from there, you will be taken on a shared boat from Almirante to Isla Colon. Bocas del Toro is a province of Panama comprising an island chain off the Caribbean coast, plus a section of the nearby mainland with a biodiverse rainforest. Isla Colón, the main island, is home to the capital, Bocas Town, a central hub with restaurants, shops and nightlife. Popular beaches include Boca del Drago. Also on Isla Colón is Starfish Beach, named for the numerous sea stars on its ocean floor. 

Enjoy some time at Isla Colon before taking the boat transfer to your hotel which is located on a nearby island called Popa Island.
